Dear Current Latitude Friends and Community Members

In the face of recent devastating wildfires that swept through the island of Maui, Kalia, a driven and compassionate 15-year-old homeschooled freshman, and her father, a 23-year veteran San Diego high school teacher have joined hands to make a difference.

Their mission is clear: to raise up to $100,000 in direct aid for the affected school children and residents of Maui. The destruction caused by the fires has had a profound impact, not only physically but also emotionally. 

We are reaching out to you, our friends, neighbors, and fellow community members, with an appeal for support. The children of Maui are in dire need of basic supplies. Every dollar donated will make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected.
